The dictionary definition of the word ‘test’ is “a procedure intended to establish the quality, performance, or reliability of something, especially before it is taken into widespread use.”

And the word ‘drive’ means a trip or journey in a car.”

If you really want to test drive a car, properly, before you decide whether to buy it or not, it stands to reason that a test drive might be useful.

But, what should the ideal test drive be like?

Is it one where you are sitting in a car with the seller trying to convince you to buy the car, whilst you test drive it around the block – or would it be better to test drive a car without any pressure whatsoever over a 5 day period during which you can carry out the test under your normal driving conditions, and then decide if the car is for you or not.

If you are likely to be using the car to and from work, and you will be driving on motorways, surely you want the test drive to be on a motorway. If you are likely to be driving the car in a busy town centre, then the test drive should be undertaken in that environment.

Will you be carrying shopping, luggage, sports equipment, pushchairs, children, elderly passengers, pets and other items in the car. Will they be comfortable in the car?

Where are you likely to be parking? Will you be driving on narrow roads, areas with lots of tight corners, country lanes, roads with speed cushions etc. How will the car handle these situations?

These are answers that can ONLY be answered by putting the car through its paces on the roads and conditions that you are typically going to drive on.

This is precisely why at CARBAYA we give you a 5-day, 250-Mile test drive option to decide if the car is really for you. If after the 5-day test drive you decide it is not, then you are entitled to return the car for a full 100% refund.

This is 21st-century car buying.

We are working hard behind the scenes to bring you this revolutionary concept soon.

Please stay tuned for further updates.

Happy Driving.
